IDA UK & IRELAND 2011 ONLINE DJ BATTLE - SHOW CATEGORY - FLYER

IDA UK & IRELAND 2011 ENTRY RULES & REGULATIONS:

This category contains both individual DJ's and Twin Teams.

All DJ's/Teams must present a 6 minute show. DJs are able to use effect tools, beat machines, samplers, controllers musical instruments etc. The only rule is to use at least one turntable during the whole set. DVS systems can be set in any mode, ie they do not need to be set in "absolute"

The important factor in the Show Category is that the competitors have to present a set, that is close to an actual song. The main criterias in this category are musicality and creativity.

There is no battle mode in this category.

As well as getting prizes donated by our esteemed sponsors, the winner will be flown to Krakow, Poland as IDA UK Champion to compete in the IDA World Finals.

Thus a prerequisite to entering the battle is full GB/Irish passport (i.e. you must be a British/Irish citizen) and being able to go to Poland to attend the final on Saturday 3rd December, so expect to travel possibly on Friday 2nd December - that may means a day off work, college or even school.

E-mail video entries direct to mike@ebsel.com no later than 23.30 (GMT) on Monday 21st November 2011. Entries will then be judged independently by a global panel of judges and announced in the days after.

DJ Rasp was recently presented with his IDA UK 2010 championship trophy at Don Valley Stadium, home of Rotherham United FC. We are proud to partner with the Rotherham United Community Sports Trust.

Feb 2011 - Along with our ambassador DJ Rasp, PRO X Fade recently supported the highly succesful Open Day at Academix DJ Academy, Brussels, Belgium.

February 2011 - Together with our ambassador DJ Rasp, PRO X FADE was hounoured to be able to perfomr a 2 hour showcase set in the Mac Line store, Brussels, Belgium. The concept of having live DJ's in the Mac stores is common in Brussels, and we thank Academix for arranging the event.

PRO X FADE was proud to present the UK tour of Lithuanian hip-hop giants G&G Sindikatas and PXF's very own DJ Rasp. The tour was a huge success. It was the first collaboration between G&G and PRO X FADE and we're already working on future projects together. Watch this space...........

Congratulations to our IDA UK 2010 sponsor Luiz Razia, who gained a podium position in Abu Dhabi yesterday, in the final GP2 race of the season, finished 2nd behind Davide Valsecchi. The points that Luiz secured meant that his team, Rapax, took the GP2 Team 2010 Championship:

IDA UK 2010 ONLINE BATTLE - ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
• Record a 3 minute set on video
• In this 3 minutes, show the very best that you can be and incorporate juggling, scratching and stage presence.
• The video must be shot in one take and show all gear being and ideally including you behind the decks rather than just your hands.
• Real records and customs only - no DVS systems.
• Remember - it's all well and good being able to pull this off on your home system, but you must be comfortable to do the same on any deck and mixer setup.

Utilising the digital and contact-free technology of Infinium, and the marketing clout and manufacturing expertise of Ebsel, we will initially be aiming our collaborative efforts at the DJ market.
The new range of faders feature an onboard processor which will enable user variable configuration of features such as software controllable lag adjust and various new fader settings which can be compatible with most popular DJ/Music based software or used independently. The contact-free technology will increase the life of the fader without the need for constant maintenance.
The unique combination of these features make these products the most versatile and comprehensive advancement to fader technology seen in recent years. The new products will provide customers superior build quality and advanced technology for use with either analogue or digital architectures.

Ebsel and the Pro X Fade attended the NAMM show in LA back in January, which was another great event. We were there showcasing the new Mark 2 version of the acclaimed Pro X Fade advanced DJ crossfader.

Also on display was the new look Allen&Heath zone 02 mixer (pictured) with Pro X Fade installed as standard and our new look face plate.

2002 WSTC champion and 4 x DMC winner DJ Vajra from Colorado checks out the new Pro X Fade Mark 2 at the LA Scratch Academy event, which was part of the 2008 NAMM show.

We held a stand at the UK's BPM show last October, which was held at the Donnington Park Exhibition centre. It was the debut year of the BPM show, and was a real success with a large crowd turn out at the event on both days. We were there showing off the Pro X Fade Mark 2, which received great feedback from manufacturers, DJs and the public alike.
